RF Oscillator
Circuit Operation:
The two 82pF Capacitors and
the variable inductor form the resonant
circuit. Bipolar Transistor 2N2222 gives the amplification. The 10K and 1K resistors are used to set the current level for the Transistor. Actually, a 470 Ohm
resistor instead of the 1K works to improve the circuit performance. Also,
keep the Power Supply voltage lower than 6 volts instead of the 6.2 volts given. A voltage of 4.5 to 5 volts is probably the best way to go.
